Advising and Support
This is a letter of recommendation I wrote for one of the Resident Assistants for receiving awards and scholarships. This artifact is an example of how I take on a mentorship role for my students and how I am invested in their development and success. I vouched for their leadership skills and for their hard work, and described how the skills the student showed in the Resident Assistant position would transfer over to other settings.
This evaluation was completed by my supervisor for the Academic Advisor for New Student Orientation internship. This artifact demonstrates the advising skills I have learned and performed through this full-time summer internship, and how I have assisted the department in enrolling new and transferring students in their courses, helped students identify their goals, and facilitated mapping out their academic path.
